Residency Program

Baylor College of Medicine is an outstanding institution for residency training. BCM's teaching hospitals, with modern, state-of-the-art facilities, are all located in the Texas Medical Center—the largest medical center in the world.

The scope, balance, and flexibility of the BCM Pediatric Residency Program prepare the house officers either for general pediatric practice or for further training in a subspecialty area, such as neonatology.

All applicants for first-year positions who have had no previous residency training should seek appointment through the National Resident Matching Program in accordance with the current rules of that program. Applicants interested in any BCM residency program should contact the appropriate program director. The director of the BCM Pediatric Residency Program is Dr. Mark A. Ward.
