Education, research, community service, and patient care are the key aspects in the mission of Baylor College of Medicine. The Section of Neonatology strives to reach educational goals through programs for students of neonatal health care, publications, and communications with parents.

Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program

The Section of Neonatology's Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program has been training neonatologists since 1961.

Medical Students

The pediatric core clerkship rotation for medical students at Baylor College of Medicine includes a two-week neonatology segment.


The BCM Pediatric Residency Program provides residency training in general pediatric practice and several subspecialty areas, including neonatology.


The Section provides several educational opportunites for neonatal nutritionists, including the Neonatal Nutriton Fellowship Program and the One-week Neonatal Nutrition Update Practicum.
